Mr J N Pradeep in collaboration with a mentor and a good friend Mr. Sunil Sanku ( A US Resident) and another counterpart and close friend Mr. A Y Prasad started TOONI ARKS.  Tooni Arks believes in being a forerunner and is currently focusing on revolutionizing the culturally and morally rich Indian made cartoons especially designed to implant in the mind of every Indian kid, the importance of the ancient Indian cultural tradition and values. Animated Cartoons have emerged as an inseparable part of every lollipop loving cosmopolitan lilliput’s (read as kids) childhood across the length and breadth of the globe.  It remains an undeniable reality that the true Originators of animation hailed from the west, and they are truly the monarchs of this mesmerising art.  Psychologists the world over swear by the fact that, formative stage is precisely the most sensitive stage of innocent Childhood.  Though it’s an age of fun, frolic and merrymaking, any impression forms in the mind during this stage goes a long way as a lasting one.  Its inevitable to mention that the irresistible western cartoons occupy a lion's share on prime time television network globally catering to the fantasy of every child.

Owing to the ever-increasing demand, the Animation industry today is one of the gigantic corporate entities. India so far had been a silent spectator in this regard as the lure of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Winnie the pooh or Warner's Tom and Jerry, Popeye and a host of other Western Cartoons enchanted and enthralled the Indian kid up to an extent that it became a part of their existence, as every child swears by his first love for the same.  This explains the height of real dearth of good animated cartoons made for the Indian kids.  The ground reality is that Indian contribution to global animation demand is absolutely negligible and specifically in a premature stage.  The corporate realized the gravity of this situation in India and making zealous initiatives to explore the innumerable opportunities in this rapidly thriving industry.  It always had been a persistent endeavor of every Indian parent to inculcate in their children a sense of Courage, Wisdom and enriching morals which are found abundantly in the rich Cultural ancient Indian tradition.   In this context, what could be the more impactful medium to instill and inculcate such values in a child other than animation which always enjoy a primary place in every child’s heart.

Tooni Arks maiden venture Chinnari Chitti Geethalu and later Chinnari Bala Siksha, Chinnari Pedarasi Pedamma kathalu, Chinnari Kittugadu Etc., are treasure trove of traditional folk tales, rich cultural folk rhymes derived and extracted from the invaluable rich Telugu literature which came into existence centuries ago while attempting to explain and understand the opulent ancient Indian culture and drive across its valuable message and most crucially its revival for the next generation.
